Kind of a gripe, as the product does not EXACTLY match the description or the photo shown with the SLR. Further it measures 9.5 inches, NOT 10 inch. When I asked about this they told me they rounded it up... um OK. Seems lazy to me. Product arrived in a generic package with no technical specifications, as to manufacturer or anything. All that aside it seems to be a sturdy flexible tripod, just wish it had been delivered in the configuration shown and described on the web site. Still giving 4 stars for price and shipping.

This is a great purchase if you have a bulky camera and do not want to carry a big tripod everywhere you go. I have a Fujifilm Finepix S2000HD and it is big and this tripod holds the camera with ease.
At first when I took the tripod from the case and tried to fit my camera on it, I found that the screw on the tripod was bigger than what could go into my camera. Then I realised that there was an adapter which could be removed and then it worked perfectly. So if you have a camera which needs a bigger screw to fit into, this tripod will work for that too.

I originally purchased this flexible tripod to use with my Canon XTi digital SLR, and have found that I don't use it there nearly as often as I use it with my small video camera. The flexibility of being able to put the camera on nearly any surface at any time is extremely powerful. I've found that the lighter the camera, the better the Joby works, but if you're willing to spend some time mucking around with the thing it's very easy to make just about any tripod-mountable tool work.
