Works great. I'm confused about the brand, though. It says "Young Micro" on the case but the box says "Blueghost" and has a "Young Micro" sticker on it.

Product is excellent with any size drive up to 200GB. Great for data recovery or for everyday use. Anyone who puts this down doesn't know much about computers...

You cant beat the drive for the price, especially with free shipping! *Note: if you are having problems with it working consistently. Open the drive and confirm connection with board. The issue is that case's length allows drive to become unplugged while carried around. I fixed this issue using a piece of the packing material at the back, making the case a "very" tight fit and making seperation utterly impossible! Since then works flawlessly and for price to order a second unit..

Wow! Great little enclosure. I put this together with a new 2.5" drive at my friend's place during a LAN party and they were all impressed with it, and they couldn't believe the price! Everything you need is there even a soft travel pouch (the description says leather but it's fake). I downloaded cloning software from Seagate.com (go to Support/Downloads and download "DiskWizard for Windows") for free and now have a 5400rpm 80GB drive in my laptop, and have my old drive in the enclosure. FYI: if you're going to clone be sure to disable System Restore in WinXP beforehand. PERFORMANCE: My new drive is very fast (ST980815A) and is rated at 37MB/s by SiSoftware Sandra bench but while in the enclosure it performed poorly, only 16MB/s. This is my first external enclosure so I have nothing to compare it to. Also it should be noted that the southbridge on my laptop is an ATI SB450, which is a notoriously poor USB controller. I had both my 80GB 5400rpm and the 60GB 4200rpm drives in the enclosure and both worked fine. One USB port is enough to power the 4200 drive. WARNING: Don't change the axis of rotation of the drive while its spinning, the centrifugal forces are quite strong and can damage the drive if you aren't careful.

this drive adaptor don't work with big hard drive, I put in 6 gig HD it work, but 20 or 60 gig hard drive don't work.

hey, the product works well with an ibm laptom and even an old desktop at my apt...but i cant get it to work on any dell machine especially my dell inspiron 630m laptop. could any other guys using dell laptops have any suggestions..i appreciate the help. thanks.
