It supports SATA hard disk drives of up to 500GB in capacity and delivers Hi-Speed USB 2.0 data transfer rates of up to 480Mb/s. It features a sleek aluminum housing to effectively disperse heat lowering the hard disk drive’s operating temperature to extend its lifespan. This user-friendly USB 2.0 to SATA enclosure is driver-installation free and supports hot-swapping, allowing you to connect and disconnect the unit without first turning your system off.
