I have this enclosure for over 9 months now and I love it. The case is very sturdy, thick aluminium and is not very heavy. You have a feeling of your HDD being very safe. The power adaptor is very compact, which is a HUGE plus. Most other enclosures have a VERY THICK power cord running to the enclosure (thick like the monitor power cable), which is very cumbersome to carry along with a laptop. Although, this power adaptor and cable are very thin and perfect for the job. Although the fan makes a lot of noise, there's a workaround. I have unplugged the fan power cable to stop it from running. Since this is aluminium, there is very good heat disipation to actually not require a fan. The fan indeed makes a TON of noise and you'll be happy unplugging it. I hope Syba makes a note of this. Removing the fan from this case will make it better and cheaper :).
