Not the tightest fit, but it works like a champ. Great enclosure.

Worked great. Plugged in my hard drive from a dead laptop I had laying around, and I was able to recover the data and format the drive just fine.
Also has a nice little LED that tells you when the drive is being read/written on so you don't unplug it at the wrong time.
The USB cable included is a dual-power cable, because of the power it consumes, but I haven't noticed any speed or performance issues with one or both plugged in.
Great, cheap (price-wise) enclosure that does what it says. Great buy.

Comes with a screwdriver to put it together. Totally awesome. Works great. With a new drive in the USB case, use the XP diskmgmt.msc ustility to format the drive before you use it.

You cant beat the drive for the price, especially with free shipping!
*Note: if you are having problems with it working consistently. Open the drive and confirm connection with board. The issue is that case's length allows drive to become unplugged while carried around. I fixed this issue using a piece of the packing material at the back, making the case a "very" tight fit and making seperation utterly impossible! Since then works flawlessly and for price to order a second unit..

Worked fine for the first week then it started acting flaky. I'd plug it in but the drive wouldn't show up. Sometimes I would get lucky and it would work but most of the time it wouldn't. I checked all the USB contacts for problems but that wasn't it. The hard drive was healthy and all the cables were plugged in correctly. I took it apart and had a look at the circuit board, it appears that it uses lead-free solder. Lead-free solder isn't as durable, so my guess would be that is the problem (though all the solder points looked intact). Item was RMA'd, hope the next one works.

Very easy to use. Came even with a small screw driver in addition to the y-cable and a leather like cover. Worked right away with XP without any driver installation. Excellent product for the price.

DRIVE CASE DOES NOT WORK! Although I only paid $8.99 for it, I will never get back the hours I've spent trying to get the damn thing to work!!! So, loss of money...small, but loss of time...HUGE!

Works the very first time without giving the windows delayed write problem. A very compact and reliable product. Tons of data transfer done without any issues.

Pretty good USB case for this price. It comes with a “look like” leather case, a Y cable (yes, Y – 3 ways), mini cd driver, and even with a screw driver! It runs well with my old laptop hard drive. (mine as silver, not black)
